The condition diminishes the amount of blood that is oxygenated supplied over other body parts such as the brain. Rationale COPD is a dangerous and life-threatening disease that if left untreated can affect the lungs completely and even lead to death. It is estimated to be the fourth main causes of death in the United States alone.
