The advancement of technology in the corporate world has seen a tremendous growth in the methods of communication used by different organizations.

E-mail is the most widely used method of communication. The introduction of the thread was quite good but the argument on the popularity of E-mail is not convincing enough (Locker, K. & Kaczmarek, 2008). Use of E-mails in the workplace has very many advantages and the student should have mentioned and explained a few.

Some of these advantages include; quick response to clients without necessarily calling them, easy and effective communication worldwide, cheap and easy to use, multiple recipients and ability to include attachments.

These are just a few benefits that an organization can enjoy when using emails in the workplace (Workplace Communication, 2010). The disadvantages also ought to have been discussed in detail, Some of the shortcomings of E-mails are; spam emails that can mess the inbox, Email frauds, stray mails carrying viruses, lack of internet connectivity in all areas and infringement of privacy.

However these disadvantages cannot outdo the advantages of emails hence the continued popularity (Workplace Communication, 2010). The element of E-mail in the heath care sector is relevant. Most of the institutions in the public domain have turned to the internet to improve their services and keep at per with the vast growth of technology.

Indeed the email has enhanced the service delivery and improved the accessibility of these vital services. The clients can easily communicate with the service providers any time they wish via emails. The conclusion is brief and impartial.

The student should have given his conclusion and as well state his stand on the use of email on the workplace. According to the research done, the benefits outweigh the shortcomings and hence the use of emails is justified. However, this should be monitored not to affect the overall productivity.
